In November 2005, Combino Pharm started operations at its new production plant in Hal Far, Malta.

With this new plant, Combino Pharm has strengthened its commitment to its customers, providing an improved service and greater flexibility in meeting their needs, in terms of quality, production and supply.

The new facilities cover a total surface area of approximately 6,600 m2, and have been designed and built in accordance with the highest European (EMEA) and American (FDA) environmental and quality standards.

Combino Pharm Malta’s manufacturing plant for solid pharmaceutical forms has been fitted with state-of-the-art technology in its premises and machinery, enabling tablets, coated tablets and capsules to be manufactured with maximum efficiency and flexibility.

The modern granulation, drying and coating equipment means both tablets and capsules can be manufactured for immediate or modified release.

The Combino Pharm plant will produce generic drugs with high added value for the EU and US markets.
